Hmm.  Looks interesting, even Creative.  Better than the One-Eyed, Soul-Sucking Monster, called Tee-Vee. Go ahead, give it a try.  You know you want to.  Call me, email (click Contact above), send smoke signals (no text, ugh!)

Soooo, don't be Blue (like this text changed to).  Or maybe, be it.  Like that song, sung Blue.  Get what's In, Out.  Might even be...Artistic.  OMG, then it might just could possibly be you are an (go ahead, say it !) then Sing It Out...ARTIST!!!

Here, have one of my cards...Card

*Will put some quotes here of folks I have worked with getting their InSongOut.  Like Cindy Castevens, aspiring songwriter from Winston-Salem, who had Kari Sickenberger (of the well known local group Polecat Creek) and I produce, arrange, and perform her songs recorded by JP at SPS.

"The Heart is basically a rhythm instrument"    John Hartford

John wrote "Steam Powered Airplane", a great NewGrass tune John Paul always loved.  So JP decided to become the Pilot of InSongOut in the SteamPoweredStudio (SPS).  SPS is mobile, modern, and sure can "git off the ground".  But it is still down home and "easy", like a Sunday mornin', like a steam aereoplane (actually have been some, Google it).  SPS has good gear, like Roland, Focusrite, Rode, Yamaha, Alesis, Martin and Fender.  Good "stuff".  But stuff isn't gonna make this thing fly alone. Takes a good Pilot. I've heard it said that John Paul is a great songwriter, very good guitar and bass player (and he likes to teach 'em), pretty good on mando and banjo (but not to worry, Bela Fleck and Steve Martin), and can git around on a Synth in a pinch (ouch!!).  He's got a good ear for songs, and how to put 'em together, without pullin' punches or steppin' on toes...meanin' he basically knows what he's doin' and is pretty easy to get along with.  More kudos (from other than himself) are below.  And his rates are great. At anyrate, come git onboard, grab you a deck chair, Relax, and enjoy the sounds and sights aboard

*I will add a sub-page here of examples of CD's recorded in the studio, with some reviews by recordees.  Like this "group effort", including The Pilot:Mary Davis of Anam Cara says, "I thank John Paul for his generosity, skill, and dedicated effort in the recording of this project."

Ed Entmacher, of his CD "The Gaze of Love", "Special thanks to friend and engineer John Paul McNeil for his guidance, patience, musicianship, skill and support.  We did it, JP!"

                                          and.....

Kari Sickenberger says, "John Paul is a good engineer.  He has an ear and feel for productiion, and is a talented multi-instrumentalist.  John Paul is also easy to work with, which means a lot."

Etc., etc., they go on and on...well, there's a few more...
